    <p>
        I am a mixed media artist and web developer. I like to work with multiple materials and multiple languages.
        I hold an MFA in Fine Arts and an AAS in Software Development with an emphasis in Web and Mobile development.

    <p>
       I worked as a freelance glassblower in the third largest art market in the United States, <a href="https://www.huffpost.com/entry/an-art-city-different-what-santa-fe-has-to-offer_b_59036a03e4b084f59b49f879">Santa Fe</a>
        and cultivated a style and following. I returned to the Iowa to teach Ceramics at Iowa State University and pursue a MFA in Mixed Media.
        I have worked in the finance industry, which lead me to explore different avenues in information Technology.

        As a mixed media artist every material is virtually available. They all have very different personalities and worlds they live
        in and are equipped with different tools.  It's refreshing to be able to move across different disciplines because they all require a different mentality.
    </b>

        Coding in different languages also have different temperaments and personalities. Some languages are loosely typed while others are strongly typed.
        And while progress and development is always occuring the learning curve of multiple disciplines keeps things interesting.
        Some of the languages that I code in clude Python, C#, Java, SQL, .NET and Cobol.

        ByteJam is a tech competition that takes place at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, IA. The program competes against each other and invite High Schools to participate. Out team was based on the theme
        of patriotism. We made a platform that would allow individuals as well as business participate in volunteer opportunities locally. The premise is based off the idea that one of the most genuine wasy to express
        partriotism is to give back to your community.
